Work Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for strategic, tactical and operational information systems planning activities for client areas; conducting projects to define strategic plans, outline major client requests, and lead business-process reengineering projects; creating tactical information systems plans; creating and maintaining process maps and documentation; recommending projects for inclusion in budget; establishing and supporting measurement and evaluation processes; acting as an agent of change in the initiation and facilitation of strategic change to the business and its supporting information systems.
Skills:
  • Minimum 4-8 years progressive combination of experience in project leadership and management, business analysis with focus on process re-engineering
  • Experience with business case and financial analysis
  • Experience defining business requirements
  • Ability to develop professional presentations
  • Excellent facilitation, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of current information technology industry trends
  • Superior diplomacy, judgement and tact
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with PC products (office tools including Visio and MS Project)
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
